Recipe for Jowar Flakes Kande Pohe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Jowar Flakes
- 1/2 cup Kande (peanuts) roasted and chopped
- 1/4 cup onions finely chopped
- 1/4 cup tomatoes finely chopped
- 1/4 cup coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions:
1. Sprinkle water on Jowar Flakes keep aside for 5 min.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
3. Add chopped onions, tomatoes, and coriander leaves. Saute until softened.
4. Add roasted peanuts and saute for a minute.
5. Add Jowar Flakes and stir well.
6. Season with salt to taste.
7. Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon juice (if desired).
